Shortbread Cookies

We just couldn't settle for the usual sugar cookies and rock-hard royal icing.  Our rule applies to cookies, just like everything that comes out of our kitchen.  It has to taste great!  So, for cookies, what better than shortbread? Oh, how about pecan shortbread?  Either one is divine and tender, and when dipped in chocolate, look no further, you've found cookie nirvana.  They can be bagged in glossy celophane bags with pretty ribbons if you'd rather the guests take them home.
