Waterlilies

An ethereal lakeside wedding, a honeymoon to France, and a love of Impressionism led to this homage to Monet's Waterlilies.  The cake was hand-painted with food color and topped with gumpaste waterlilies and pads. We carried the theme through by customizing the wedding invitations with a watercolored vellum wrap.
