Twin Cities Taste

"For another Gateaux cake designed to match the bridal gown, Martin photographs the beadwork and embroidery, scans the photos, sizes the images, then prints a paper pattern through which she pin-pokes the detailing onto the cake.  Here royal icing fronds and fondant flowers mirror the gown's bodice.  The dress came from Amy Jane Bridal in St. Paul.
