Taj Mahal

 When Linn and Himanshu came in to design their wedding cake, they brought with them a treasure trove of design options in the form of a dozen different sari's to be worn by the bride, her attendants and other participants in the wedding.  We took patterns from these, as well as traditional henna designs to complete their India-inspired wedding cake.  When debating how to top this masterpiece, the groom came up with the Taj Mahal, a monument to love.  This one, we created out of gumpaste, royal icing and sheet gelatin windows, our own labor of love.  For the flavors, pistachio, chocolate and rose-infused mousse held true to our Indian theme.
