Pinecones
This three tier ice blue creation was dressed perfectly for winter with Sugared Pinecones and Dark Chocolate Pine needles. Our bride, Amy, brought us a picture of this cake from a Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. She quickly found out that we had also ripped out that page in hopes of finding a bride crazy enough to get married in winter in Minnesota, so that we could make the cake. Well, she was our girl! It was an arctic 14 degrees below zero on her wedding day, but that didn't even stop her and the groom from taking outdoor pictures! And once they defrosted enough to move, this blue pinecone cake was waiting for them at the reception.
