Pagoda

A Moroccan "Casa Blanca" themed birthday party was the inspiration for this cake.  Inspired by Moroccan grilled-windows and a Pagoda that the party's hostess bought to adorn the bar, we hand-painted, piped, and carved our way into one of our all-time favorite cake designs.  The roof?  Entirely gumpaste and royal icing, painted with 23 karat gold.
