Double Happiness

To honor her Chinese heritage, this bride wore a traditional Cheongsam dress to her reception.  The Chinese symbols for abundance and long life woven into the fabric of her Cheongsam were copied onto the cake in royal icing.  The tiers were finished with fondant buttons and topped with the symbol for Double Happiness found on their invitation.
