Silver Snowflake

Kristine and Derek wanted to embrace the season with their reception decor, and consequently, their cake.  We took this as our opportunity to load up on edible glitter, sanding sugar and crystals.  Each of the unique, handcut snowflakes was coated with edible glitter.  The rest of the cake was color blocked between pale silver sugared areas and matte white fondant.  To finish the look, we hung tiny icicles from the underside of the exposed cake plates.  Getting chilly just looking at it!
